Children and Teens Counseling
Counseling for children and teens is provided in a safe and confidential environment. We work collaboratively with parents and caregivers to address whatever concerns are present while also creating a trusting relationship with the child/teen.
In health coaching, the client and therapist work collaboratively to identify personalized wellness goals to address mind and body wellness. These goals are designed to support the establishment of healthy habits and sustainable lifestyle changes. During your initial session, we will evaluate a variety of factors – ranging from nutrition and exercise to relationships and work – that influence overall health and wellbeing. Utilizing an integrative “whole person” mind/body approach – we will create an individualized wellness plan that is tailored toward you and your lifestyle. Once clear goals have been established, the health coach will work with you on implementing the goals, tracking progress, identifying road blocks, and staying on track toward leading a healthier, more vibrant and balanced life.
Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
TF-CBT is a conjoint child and parent psychotherapy approach for children and adolescents who are experiencing significant emotional and behavioral difficulties related to traumatic life events. It is a components-based treatment model that incorporates trauma-sensitive interventions with cognitive behavioral, family, and humanistic principles and techniques.
